The Albanian stand was visited by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Anila Denaj. The stand features nine enterprises operating in the agriculture and agro-processing sector, showcasing their branded products with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
The stand showcasing Albanian products also received a visit from Luis Planas Puchades, the Spanish Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food.
Minister Denaj expressed that “this is the first time Albania is participating in the Fair, which is amongst the largest in the world and observes its 15th anniversary this year. I had the pleasure of meeting the Spanish Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Luis Planas Puchades, who expressed his intention to continue the cooperation initiated during our bilateral meetings.”
“At this trade show, with nearly 80,000 participants over the next three days, the Albanian stand not only showcases pride in the represented products, but also presents a valuable business opportunity. The stand’s offerings are not limited to the Spanish market, as they also appeal to representatives of businesses from participating countries,” stated Denaj.
The minister met with representatives of Albanian businesses to discuss shared concerns, including product quality, which is closely tied to food safety. Ensuring a certified product is crucial for international markets, and this starts from the very first day of planting, all the way through waste treatment and packaging.
She viewed the participation in the fair as a chance to enhance oneself in both business and personal aspects. The minister urged all business representatives to perceive these fairs, while extending gratitude to the ministry’s staff for putting in great effort in creating a dignified stand and garnering a commendable turnout.
The “Fruit Attraction 2023” expo unites industry experts and global players in agriculture to create a prime venue for showcasing fresh produce, facilitating trade and exports, managing product logistics, and promoting innovation.
The event features over 80,000 exhibitors from all corners of the globe.
